Unhappy Door Panel HELP!!

OK I have the door panel off and I purchased the spray adhesive, but how do I get the arm rest area out. I want to put a red insert around the area that has all the window switches and door locks, but it looks like its bonded to the door panel?

Any help, tips, tricks, pics appreciated.

I got a screwdriver and put it as level as i could with the stuff that holds it together, and then i got a wrench and tapped it till it was off then moved to the next one. Its a lot of work. What r u using to cover the insert?

I just pulled it off...granted it took some force, but I pretty much just "popped" all the studs out. Not hard at all...but definitely not for the weak at heart.

How did you get the part to stay back on? It looks like once you "pop" off the insert the plastic "tabs" are broken? How does it stay on after you break the "tabs"?

Thanks. The pics look great, but do you have any close ups? Did you put the seal all on the "tabs" after you put the insert back together with the door panel?

I still can't figure out how to get the black plastic tabs loose? Did you dremel them off or what?
