does any one know if the door panels for the ss and LS have the same dimensions? (ie-interchangable?)

 

ls = manual windows
ss = power windows

so no, you cant interchange them.

(although i thought i seen ls's somewhere with power windows??)

 

yes there are very few ls's with PW and PL. also i believe its called the LT3? they have PW PL Heated seats, all that jazz. but its not hard to swap out the manual crank with PW. u don't need PL per say. but they make universal kits for PW.

 

You can buy paint for them if that is what you want to know just so you know

 

I don't think it's that hard to find LS's with power locks and stuff... Mine has them.
Maybe it depends on the year.

 

Not true. Power accessories are simply an option that you either have or dont. You need to check the actual panel to see if it matches what you need. There is otherwise no difference between the two models.
