Did you finally get that thing done?! I've been meaning to post some more pics of the completed project...it truly looks awesome and I give it a half grin every time I open my door.

It's actually pretty easy. If you'd like I can send you all the stuff that I had written up for Cobalt08LS..It's useless trying to get how-to's approved round here...especially ones that are so similar to ones that already exist.

well ended up doing a lil searching. well it was as far back as page 4 lol. but anyways if u did not read throught this one person posted this^^^^^ like above. it gives a basic how to for wiring and what not. but on the second page the person gets into detail on how he did the door sill. but either way read throught the begining it will help. and hope this helps. i plan on doing this sometime when i gets me monies

Nice to see this still has interest lol! I have since disconnected my EL strips and have a new setup with LEDs instead. I'll post up pictures when I get a chance.

EDIT: And before the PMs keep coming, I no longer have the write-up I did for Cobalt08LS. I'm not sure if he still has it either. The best thing I could suggest is to follow the how-to in the above post

also to anyone doing this i highly reccomend making some kind of protector to protect the end of the lead and all that because i have gone through 3 EL strips due to the end of the lead getting fried.
the company suggested using heat shrink or hard plastic of somesort to protect the end.
