drivers door

the drivers door seems not to open from the outside and inside. i cant open the door. has anybody had problems like this

Put your key in the lock and turn it back and forth. This has happened to me in my '06 DD. Likely we need to do some lubing of the mechanisms.

ya it has happened to me before, but it was from the inside. you have to jiggle inside door handle a bit. i think the cable slips off, then comes back on.

yeah has happened to me lube the components like weekly other wise you will end up with a broken door handle (happened to me)

what do u mean lube the components. to put grease so it dont come off

get some white lith grease and grease the **** out of the handle the ltach etc.

which handle the outside one. do i need to remove the door panel to do this. and what type of grease

The driver side door on mine stopped opening from the inside, for like a week, then it randomly starting working the day I was going to take it to be fixed.
