ummm... been a while but I'm getting caught up with other builds and had a bit of time to play around tonight. I didn't like the way the projectors and their shrouds for the turn signals were looking so I decided to take another path.

I got some Mini shrouds and projectors from a local friend and thought they could look pretty cool in there. So I trimmed the bezel and mocked them up. I like it and am going to fiberglass and bondo it into place. So it will pretty much look like this, but color matched and I'm thinking about doing an LED strip along the bottom ala R8 style.

Here are the pics...

Note: in the last pic that is a shot showing the difference between the stock turn signal area and the new one with the Mini shroud and projector. The driver headlight is for ls1fbody that I was just finishing testing before I ship out this week.

I might even consider selling my dual retro after I am finished... that's a big maybe though.

Anyways thanks for the kind words Ryan, and everyone. More updates with pics tomorrow, imageshack is being a bitch and I'm tired.

@Penguin - nope... not hids in the turn signals... I wasn't liking how the projectors had to be aimed and how it made them look. So this way, aiming doesn't matter so it makes more sense for aesthetics and since I already have one set of hids and a nice cutoff, that all I care about.

@ls1 - thanks dude, should have your set out tomorrow.

@jeff - you are a gentleman, thank you sir... and I just might have to take you up on that offer , we will talk more later, gotta go change my oil.

Yeah, that was abandoned... didn't like how it was going. I wanted to do something more simple. I ended up just doing a clean, simple retrofit for my personal set with color matched paint, tinted sidemarker and gatling gun shrouds. I'll get pics of that up soon.
