Dual Side Exhaust but what to do with the rear?

Like the title says, I recently finished my dual side exhaust and now i need to figure out what to do with the rear bumper. My buddy says he can fill it in. But i was thinkin aftermarket. OR maybe cutting out that whole entire rear section where the grill is. Does anyone have any ideas?

Somethin like this except someone do a better photoshop....paint sucks. lol

later

Another idea, a LS bumper with a lip..

later

Or a SS rear bumper but removing the black section and putting something in its place... hmmm too many choices..

Sry to spoil everyones fun, but i think i came to a conclusion already on what rear bumper i want... the RKSport G5 rear lower valance.

Thanks Moza13-

Also I have been checkin out the Grip side skirts to see if my tips will fit in their hole.. lol.. sound bad...

Props to you for going with something different.
I would take off the rear and fill it in. Perhaps find a damaged rear skirt, cut it out and mold it in.

That exhaust freakin' rules. Good job. Thought of aftermarket for the rear? I'm sure Gravana or someone could make you one without a cutout. +rep for kickass exhaust.

Thanks man, there was a lot of time and aggravation invested in that, luckily i have a supportive g/f that kept me going at it, not letting me give up.

My thought for an aftermarket rear is the RKSport G5 rear lower valance. Its just a lip.. so it should be a piece of cake..

Thanks Moza13-

Here is something I thought would look kinda cool.

The RKSport rear lower valance, with Corvette style reverse lights. Red out the original reverse lights and wire down to the new reverse lights, wire up the old reverse lights to come on when the outer taillights light up. Of course the lower valance would be color matched, not the gray I have above, I just did a quick chop.

Nice man. Looks like more work then I wanted though... Maybe that can be a "winter" project. lol. Damn... the more i look at it... the more i like it.... Too bad i couldnt get it color matched so I could really see what it looked like.... Also where did u get that pix of the rksport lower valance? I have been trying to find a decent shot of it all night to get a good idea of exactly what it looks like.

I do have the luxury of playing with the floor height so our goal is for the exhaust tips to be in the side skirts.
Also for your rear hole, it is possible to get a good bodyshop to fill the hole with a polyurethane piece and repaint, which is also the plan for my car. To make up for the rear grill that is molded for the exhaust pipe, we are just getting custom billet grills made up.
As everyone else did, I feel this mod was worth some green rep.

All those 2.2 guys want our ass's... lol. Whats nice with the RKSport rear valance that im lookin at is it just replaces the stock ss/sc lip. So i could sell the lip and slap on the RKSport lip and then use the money from selling the ss/sc lip to paint the new RKSport lip... or I could be ghetto and leave it primer.... lol

Chevrolet should have done that in the first place, I don't like the lighting setup that they chose for production.

I wonder if that set up would help me anymore at night when trying to back up in the dark with 20% tint and no street lights.. lol. Or just hook up a couple of those 100000 candle watt lights to the rear bumper and use those to light things up... lol
