i was wondering if a lip from the ss/sc/tc attach to the base model rear bumper? if so this would save me close to 250 bucks on a whole new bumper, thanks

 

it does not fit unless you cut slits into them I think. I did that long ago on my LS model and just got the SS bumper. Much easier

 

yea not doing my rear bumper yet..Ive done the rest frt bumper and side skirts

 

thats what i wanna do.. ive been trying to find a wreaked ss and ****** the kit off it, but i cant find any around where i live , i love the front bumper, and i was thinking mabey the only difference in the rear is just the lip but i rrly wasnt for sure.

I got my bumper off craigslist for 100 bucks w no lip and my skirt off ebay for 50 for the pair.And I Paint autos and Rvs for living so that helps me on the money side

 

NICE!! ive checked craigslist, and around me, all ppl are selling for ss's are their whole car, or parts i dont want lol... when i get the front, i dont want the lip on it, it doesnt make that much of a diff, but t.m.o

 

They have ss bumpers on ebay for $300... I saw them last week check there dude. I got mine for $175 on eBay off a wrecked ss and I got it fixed and painted since it was broken on the side

 

FYI
Just remember that the rear lip doesn't fit a sedan without shrinking it by one inch on each side so it lines up (sedan bumper is shorter than the coupe)

 

yea ive read that, mines a coupe tho

 

i know lol i just was pointing it out for those who have a sedan i have had a lot of people ask how i did it and that they jumped the gun and tried to install without modifying it.

 

So the SS/TC rear lip DOES fit on the LT rear bumper? Can you tell a difference?
I have the SS front bumper/side skirts but if the lip fits on the LT, it'll save me $400 from having to buy the SS rear...
