Beware not to melt your wire harness with high wattage aftermarket "superwhite" bulbs.

Oh and always buy from the seller with the best feedback rating.

i'm regretting buying these projectors halos because now everyone is saying they've been getting fog in them.. Fog was the reason why i took out my painted headlights before. So i guess when i recieve the projectors in the mail i will be selling them if anyone is interested.

Might want to check your state's law on that one, I live in Ohio and was required to change bulb color after changing the lens to clear on my cavalier.

H1 is just the type of bulb (like 9007, 9006 etc. .)

I've had mine on for over a month and I haven't had any fog in them...besides...mine came with a paper that specifically says to seal the projector housing with silicone to prevent fogging...but I never did and I have no fogging issues.

I probably will eventually seal them though.

Not true....HID bulbs run cooler than Halogen.

is it true that these headlights don't come sealed and that we have to seal them?

they are sealed, have screws in the back as well, have bulbs intalled. I have never had a fogging issue ever.

I like the looks of these lights. minor fitment issues I have had. others have not. I worked my issues out. they look super with luminics bulbs. they are more functional with regular bulbs and now I am considering putting in a set of 100 watt bulbs. if I do I will make a separate wiring harness with relays to handle the load. I have done this before with jeeps. works great.

what i did was i cut down a strip of ultra thin LED's and i placed it behind the steering colom... you cant see them really.. but with the wite background and the blue led's it looks sick.. it looks better in person tho

I meant by sealing the actual "projector" part, thats what the note meant I believe.

I am going to run the LED's to their own switch inside the car thru a relay to protect them.

how does the relay protect them? i might just throw a 3amp fuse on the power wire when spicing them into the daytime running lights.

Relay should protect against surges I think...

I got them put in today, just used an inline fuse (no relay) for the LED's and mounted the switch beside the coin holder, under dash for now to avoid any cutting. I just need to remember to turn them off when I use them - or - oops dead battery
