effing spray glue lets go in the heat!!

So long story short, I re did my cloth door inserts with silver leather two months ago, they looked fantastic. But now in the heat/humidity the Glues sorta letting go, and they isnerts are like wrinkly.

I used "3m super 77" and I applied that **** generously to BOTH surfaces, and let each sit for like 5 mins or so before putting them together.

I'm gonna re do them in Black, but whats a good spray glue that WONT let go? I'm a lil pissed as at first they looked freakin awesome lol.

I dont know what the inserts look like taken out but could you glue it plus pull it tight around the back and staple gunning it?

Strange you'd think the staples would hold it tight

I would think a good headliner spray would work, like Permatex 27828 or Loctite 37312 - the Loctite is pretty good strength and has good heat resistance (I had a headliner issue in my old second-gen, and I bonded it up - lasted until I junked the car). It supposedly works on a lot of surfaces, too.
