engine cover/warranty

will removing the big plastic engine cover void my waranty. what purpose does it serve? i have to convince my mom its okay b/c she bought the car and doesnt beleive me that it wont mess anything up.

b/c my mom is **** about this car since she has blown the motor in he last 3 cars.

she doesnt take care of anything to do with her cars. she blew a honda b/c oil was to low. she blew a explorer b/c of neglegence. and she blew the car i was supposed to get b/c she didn't change the oil. i dont know why she cares about mine so much when she never cared about any of the others.

I'm leaving mine on... it helps keep dirt and what-not off the engine.... plus I may end up getting it painted for some under-hood dress up later.

No, it will NOT void your warranty. It helps move air through out your engine bay and to keep people from messing with their engines. If she never checks her cars then how will she know you took it off?

yeah i dont let her drive it. my mom doesnt know squat about cars so ill tell her it wont make a diffrence and that we can put it back on if chevy says anything. maybe she will give in.
