Evo Mod;
Not quite.. Cobalts are pretty darn quick.
It doesn't matter how much power you have under the hood, If you know how to drive it you can keep up with em.
Ask Kyle from Nashville running an SC. I stayed with him the entire cruise at 110-120 and he even said he was impressed with the 2.4. Honestly, it's not always the car but the driver knowing his car and its capabilities.
Am I going to push on a WRX STi running even 4-8 PSI? Nope, because I'm not boosted but I promise you in Auto-x with a driver that knows his ride will outclass more powerful platforms anyday.
Of course if you're running against an R34 GTR in autocross odds are that he probably knows his vehicle pretty well.

Sand it down and repeat the process using 5-6 lighter coats instead of 1 huge thick coat. Just be sure you stay on top of it because Plasti-Dip doesn't peel right when you unmask it. I would do 2-3 light coats on the masking edge and a thicker amount (5-6 coats in the middle) If you do the center area minus 3 inches on the masking edge before you do the masking edge and peel it immediately after you apply the 3rd coat to the masking edge it won't look like garbage.
u guys saying 4-5 coats are retarded, you just need one coat, when you start doing second and third coats your using twice as much plastidip for the second coat, you just have to hold the can about10 inches away from your workand go at it in light sweeping motions dont just hold it in one spot, and spray it on enough that it looks to have a uniform wet look, it will even its self out as it dries,

I used a few coats myself, thick ones. It took a few coats to completely cover up the silver paint underneath. Looks fine. Its just temp anyways.
And i think using 1 super thick coat is ******* retarded. It does smooth itself out, but if you do too thick, it WILL run and you CANNOT fix it.

I applaud you for using half the amount...but we are talking like 6 bucks a can... I put on a few more coats to insure it would take the abuse of rocks and sand...
1. dont use a paint brush
2.please tape everything off properly
3. please do a better job then on your rims
your rims look good man, just coulda been better imo
There is a pic on this page of my car with the evo mod. I think it turned out pretty nicely.
