Talking Exhaust advice

So im looking for an exhaust system for my 09 LT sedan (shutup) and there are so many out there but I don't wanna end up buying a 'fart can'..ive heard the Megan racing drift exhaust sounds and looks amazing (heres the link)

Megan Racing Cobalt Drift Spec Cat-Back Exhaust System

But im still debating. I've seen youtube videos with ls and lt cobalts having it on theirs and it sounding and looking amazing.. any suggestions? (nothing too expensive plz!..about $350 max)

BTW dont tell me to save up for an SS because i cant afford it with insurance (if you live in Ontario you know what im talking about)

Thanks

GMPP is usually good if you wanna change up the exhaust without going crazy on loudness.

Anytime ive messed with exhaust on a n/a car its ended up really loud. Id imagine a custom exhaust would be the way to go if you dont want to be loud. Big muffler = good

GMPP is expensive if you buy brand new from a dealer. Find someone selling a system used and you can get ridiculously cheap deals.

The car wasn't washed and the exhaust wasn't cleaned but it doesn't look great on the back of a sedan IMO. I think it wouldn't look so out of place if it had a lip installed though. Its kind of loud and I have the stock header and down pipe installed. I bought a silencer for it.

I ran 2.5" off the ZZP 3" DP (Cat) to a 2.5" Exit. It sounds AWFUL. I'm debating on putting my stock resonator back in just to get it to stfu... Oh and I did a Muffler Delete / Resonator Delete custom mendrel bent exhaust.

Muffler will just give you sound, while a catback will give you some hp and sound.

Muffler / Resonator will quiet it down. Most of the time the Muffler does most of it unless you get an aftermarket resonator like the Magnaflow Resonator. It will reduce the sound but not make it quiet.

I have straight pipe from the DP and I'm hating it right now. I actually need to install a Fart Can now to silence it...
