eyelid problems?
The very top edge of the reflector lights up the road directly in front of the car (I mean like 5 feet in front) so as long as you don't cover it too low down (like halfway down the front or something), you should have no issues.
If you are really curious, set up somewhere that you can shine the headlights on a wall, then use a piece of cardboard to block more / less of the light, see how it affects the output. Don't forget to block / unplug the other side
