fail

dipped some parts of ny car that were black but fading. dunno how well it looks. and I sprayed those to metal rails on top of the car for style but dont think I like it.

Why didn't you just get some trim restoration products? It would have been a lot easier I think.

mostly because I already had extra dip from my rims. which turned out crappy imo. ugh I suck at this game.

Atleast for the front grille, they don't do a whole lot from my experience. Some sort of trim paint would work the best, I've seen my friends and it was back to black and changed the look of the front end.

I also did the black on the mirrors. they were horrid. forgot to take pics tho.

Like most things involving paint, it's all in the prep. Did you thoroughly clean the wheels and do an IPA wipe down? This ensures there are no oils on the wheels before you spray them down.

yeah I cleaned them very good. I blame it on the flake spots on the rim and the dip itself. it doesnt lay evenly. least I couldnt get it to.

shook the crap out of the can. and it was sitting in direct sunlight on about a 90degree day for a bit before use lol.

I never really had trouble with plastidip....first time I dipped my wheels all I did was wash them off with car soap and spray them lol came out good.

other time I dipped them I did clean em good and came out the same

Yeah... Thats a fail... Better luck next time bud. They also say to spray the can upside down for a sec between coats to keep the nozzle from clogging and soraying all jacked up
