In Canada the Pontiac Pursuit (G5) came out a while ago as a coupe and a sedan. Our cobalt sedans are in actuality, rebadged Pursuit (G5) sedans.

Also added...I think you guys are so bogus to compare this guy's car to CC08's....not all blue cobalts are like that.

This car has much more style and taste IMO, but that's just me.

PS...I dunno if anyone noticed and correct me if I'm wrong...but are those Recaros in there? Again, I'm a fan, i think its a clean car.

yup there recaros and ss rims, cant lie i got the whole set and rubber for a grand. (thats seats aswell front and back)

ok the rims and seats are good. even the wing works for me. the cf trunk not bad still looks clean. Interior paint is at least done nicely and isn't too bright. IMO i would have chosen a different color or polished look for the engine bay. The lights are nice but the audi part is almost a bit much for me, and the neon lights hurts my head. I won't lie at one time I had neons on a car as well. But that was a few years ago when I was in high school and that was "cool". Just try and keep the car clean and not too much rice.

dont mind most trash talk like the above guys. There are some on here that are like that. They only like performance mods to accompany appearance mods, cause thats all you should do with your car right?

That said, im not a big fan of it either, but it doesn't look bad.

 

Let me be a hater and say I hate you for having the recaros.

I say clean ride man. There will be lots of haters here man, and blue sedan cobalts/g5's may forever be tarnished due to some events.

But know that you have a nice car, and that its yours. YOU be happy with it first and do it how YOU want it to be done. Most people on here mod their cars the same way, and don't really go out of the box in a clean fashion, and just automatically hate anything that they don't like. I personally like your car, I'd do away with the saying on the wing, but that's it really.

You're the first sedan that I've seen have the CF trunk lid and I like it. I say get the CF mid section for your wing and you'll be set!

The Audi lights are not a THEME. The BMW Halos are a "theme". The Audi LEDs have a particular heritage to Audis. Specifically to Audis. To "copy" something over that has NO meaning on a different marque is dumb.

Elitist? No. Car enthusiast? YES.

To take a styling que and replicate it on another car isn't that bad as long as it flows with the car. But when you take something which actually has a meaning behind it - like the GS fender stripes or the Audi LEDs - and put it on a different make or model, then it's just plain stupid.

lol what heritage could a strip of led's account for. The fact that one guy decided to put it on a car as a design aspect because no other manufactuer had them before ? All cars started somewhere along the lines of being modified. If it was not the case we would still be driving model T's.

 

This is not a cobalt to cobalt comaprison. So there is no way that im comparing two different makes. Im just saying some of his appreance mods look the same to CC08's.

 

I'm not much of a underglow guy. I'm not much of a color matching under the hood guy. I'm not much of a carbon fiber guy.

It all started with the R8. The "strip of LEDs" was placed there in honor of Audi's success in the 24 hour of LeMans. Hence why there are 24 of them (12 on each headlight), at least on the R8. Then they just passed own the styling to the lower models. But, to me, that's something that's kind of sacred to the Audi's.

Other stuff - halos, projectors, etc, those all started on other cars but don't really have any marque-specific meaning behind them. It's only when I see stuff that has a part of a maker's history in it that it irks me seeing it on something else.

You just said it yourself man, hence why i started the argue in the first place with you. They just passed it down meaing "meh who cares it makes the car look better and people will buy it"


To you i see its sacred to them just another paycheque. So next time please don't punk people, but rather an influential input would be satisfactory
