In an attempt to draw attention away from Chevy Cobalt 08's treat I decide to "show off" my ride, enjoy.

A close up shot of my interior. I have Neons under the dash, and LED's in the map lights and in the front/back cup holders too.

More of an outside shot, you can see my two newest additions there. I have LED strips in the door pockets and underneath the door panels.

Picture from the front, you get a good look at my map lights and the lights under the door here. Those lights are only on when the door is open btw, they turn off and on automatically regardless of if the car is running or not.

Just a better look at the lights under the doors.

Let me know what you think, not that I really care since I like it.

i've got rice on my car. i got a polished billet oil cap!!! its tech. a pointless mod but how many of us have it. your lights arent my style but they are nicley done an i think they are hidden fairly well. not bad at all.

Lights can't be rice because there's nothing race inspiring about them. It really annoys me how everyone calls it rice. People need to learn to use the word rice correctly.

What do you think race inspired means? Certainly not lights.... It's body kits and wings and stripes etc that kind of stuff... You don't see any race cars with lights do you? Exactly.

I know that but it's wrong......... Hello? Real race cars don't have lights so how are lights race inspired?? And look it even says HID and half the people on here have HID. You wouldn't consiter that rice right? Exactly my point. Lighting is NOT rice. People call it rice cause cars that are usually riced out have lights. So people associate any lights with rice. But just because a non riced out car has lights doesn't means its rice. It's not rice. More of an association to rice. Which comes to my point of it's totally misused by everyone. Rice is race inspired parts like wings, body kits, stickers, loud exhaust. But not lights... Oh yeah and rims aren't rice. That's just balla Whole other different class...

 

Some race cars have lights for 24 hour events, but yes lights aren't rice at all.

I would not drive down the road like that (Would look like a glowing spaceship flying by imo) but to show off hell yea it looks sweet for show.

 

Well the map lights and under door lights are off when I'm driving which means that you cant really seen much from the outside, except for maybe the one blue neon I have on the steering column... but even that I don't think is all that noticeable. I've drove by cops in NJ,NY and PA with them on and have never even gotten a second glance.

I had considered taking it to a show at some point, but unless the show started when it was dark out i'd be laughed out of there because the only thing i got going on outside is a set of Gen 2 projectors and a scuffed set of stock rims.

 

true . Same here what you see is all I got, rest is all stock, I even got 15s on steelies and plastic Chevy hubcaps that came with the car still ftl! Wish I had money for some rims damnit!!

 

so did you use like neon tubes under the dash? or LED's and can you possibly tell me how ya wired em up?
