what happened at the top and bottom of the port? looks like you just cut the fabric. i would cut 45* out from the corner, so you can pull the fabric down and under like you did on the sides.

it looks fantastic though

I never made a sub box, I was always afraid I wouldn't make it right and it would sound flat or crappy.

this looks really good though!

if you can do basic math, use a tape measure and a saw then you can make a sub box...

I think I remember the first thread about this box. I think he bought the box, but just recovered. Either way looks good. Its not a sweet as a custom fit box, but still looks great. Thank you for the idea. I've been wanting to buy/make a custom fit box, but the price its crazy. This might just be my alternative.

its a vinyl that i bought at a fabric store its like immatation leather but it looks good, about the port hole the sides go in at a curve and by the time i cut them out perfectly i left myself with chopping the top and bottom like i did. it was pretty hard to do considering you cant see the entire hole until you cut. but its a trial by error kinda thing and for a first time it turned out great.... the box was purchased premade with that crappy carpet that comes on them so that had to go.....I had it in my blue cobalt before that kid wrecked it. the box sounds amazing, better than any sealed box ive had. and it fits in the trunk prefectly with just enough room to put the amp on top

heres the part where I smacked myself in the face....When I glued the the SS badge in place I glued it according to the direction of the subs which r currently just holding down the glued edge of the sub holes. well turns out there is a seam on the bottom off the box but i guled the ss badge on the top upside down so now the box has to go in that way and show off my flashy seam..........I kicked my own ass for about 4 hours last night....to think it was done and that final touch screwed everything up lol
