Looks Nice

My opinion (not really important, but just a suggestion)

The lower gril, paint it black,
Shave emblems
1 " drop (or 2 " if you want)
Black rims (or get the originals painted professionally)
Paint the inner headlight peice black (there is a do-it-yourself, and it can be found in this forum)

(just my opinion)

I too am planning on turbocharging my LS, But I wanted to finish the outside of my car first (bodykit, spoiler, and a whole lotta other sh*t) You can check out my pics in my gallery under user lOwBaLt.

Nicely done. Not overdone, not halfassed. Nice use of our ss/sc wing . I agree with painting the mesh part of the grill and your wheels black though. Would tighten up the looks some. But that's just my $0.02. Like I said though, nicely done.

i have been looking at some 20" black 7 spoke w/ gun metal lip. I had them test fit the 20's and it turns out i have to order ones they dont carry because the 20" x 8" wide are to big, they did test fit a 20" x 7" rim and they fit w/ full range of turn radious. I didnt get them because i didnt like the looks, they were to flashy, i like chrome but in moderation. Oh and i wish i could drop it. I already shatterd the front air dam on a parking block and had to fix it. I had to add in 2 aluminum plates under it the other day because all the bottoming out was wearing out the new fiberglass on the underside. And yes these pics were after had fixed it. the middle divider on the bottom of air dam was completely disinagrated so i had to make a new one out of fiber-glass bondo. took me about 8 straight hours to get it to look like nothing ever happend to it.

Looks pretty good. Not really feeling the color of the front mesh, and I would deffently put front upper grill back in simply because it looks like that cross bar is sagging

Btw, sounds like you care about performance as well as style, if this is true I would advise against 20" rims. Go with some lightweight 17's if you want to build a race car. But yeah, 20's will probably look sweet, just slow you down.

Man 45k could buy a lot of strippers and blow...

Looks good, but I think it's crying to be debadged. And Maj is right about the upper front grill. And if if you have 45k to throw around... Forget it, I won't even ask. Someone else will though I'm sure. Oh, and vent visors belong on trucks, and uhhh trucks. IMHO.

thats because it is sagging, dont buy from creative auto designs. the factory grill does not fit because the bar is made of fiberglass and they didnt take the time to put something in there to keep it from dropping down like that. Right now a few friends onmy ship are working on making a french tube grill for it. I'll have pics of it if i like how it turns out.

LOL i'm not going to debadge it, then ill have every stang, vette, cobalt, srt-4 trying to f--- w/ me. But when i do get a working turbo im getting some lettering that is just like the cobalt badge spelling TURBO and putting it on the other side where yours says superchargerd. It rains like cat and dogs out here all the time. the visors make it so i can have the window down a lil and not have it raining in my car. They were bought for a purpose not looks.

well it is the replacement for the cavalier, and when i first seen the SS/SC at the 2001 North American International Autoshow, i said the samething, "it looks like a cavalier" the lady standing next to the camilion painted SS said ITS NOT A CAVALIER i just laughed at her and said, isnt that an ecotec under the hood, caugh and mumbled cavy.

lol at my age, the insurance on a vette is almost 500 a month for full covrage. ill stick to paying 140 a month for full covrage on my balt. oh and only paying 15k for my balt leaves me more money for internal parts, turbos, NOS, ect.

i had a friend paint the kit while i was in virginia and the kit was in michigan at my parents house. I didnt fit anything before it was painted, just painted it. I went home on leave, the most time we get to take for leave is 13-15 days. Well everyone warrned me to fit it first then paint it but, im stubberned and argued i dont have time to fit it w/ only having 13 days to work on it. Within an hour of pulling into my parents drive way i had the kit pulled out of the shed, the rear of the car on jacks, tires off, back bumper off and started to put the back on. And ouch, the rear bumper was 1/2 inch too short on both sides from meathing the wheel wells, the edge at the trunk near the tail lights stuck into the trunk edge by 1/4 inch keeping the trunk from closing. The next day i ripped the front off and the front kit fit, so i put the sides on and they fit. I got the bright idea fine, ill cut the rear in half. So i did, i used fiber glass bondo to mold the new body line in. I had left over victory red paint from my friend painting but we couldnt get a paint booth to repaint it. So i went to auto zone and bought victory red in a spray can, 4 cans of it. I was soo pi$$ed off at the work i had to do I didnt even wet sand inbetween coats, i didnt wet sand before the clear coat. So now i have to get the car repainted, rock chips on the front and all over the hood from making 2k round trip from michigan/virginia 8 times. here are some pictures of what i had to do, all the bondo and sanding/meshing was done by me, brandon cut the kit in half where he thought the bodyline would match best

Finally someone posts pics of the drift kit besides the black one with primer. I'm definitely a fan of the rear and sides, but like lowbalt mentioned, black mesh on the front is a must.

This car will end up being a trailer queen/ drove on weekends only. Now to find a truck to pull it. Maybe the sliverado SS
