i really like what you did. the only gripe i have is the door moldings that go across it. i dont like the way they look. but i actually would kinda prefer to have it since it could really save you if someone opened there door too hard next to you. love the interior as well.

 

I had the same issues with the back bumper of the drift kit n the body shop thought they were going to have to cut it in half but they ended up trimming inside where the trunk shuts my sideskirts were about 2 inch to short also but I havent seen it finished yet its been in the shop for like 4 weeks now and they did fit before painting thank goodness but Im supposed to go pick it up wed and well see how it looks then but I still love the drift kit!!

 

yeah, me too, but as soon as someone makes a urathaine body kit or a carbon fiber body kit, im all over it, i hate fiber glass

 

I am going to be pissed if I have all kinds of fitment issues with this kit

Wow the side of that car looks horrible. Are you actually getting any extra air into your rear brakes that you never use? Just curious because in my opinion that looks horrible.

And with my front end I ended custom making brackets to fit it so now my front fits great but I have to put newer bigger screws into that fiberglass constantly cuz it is shooting out the screws that are in place right now...

 

personally i think just having a front on a car looks half a$$ed. im not here to please your eyes, im here to please my own, and thats what counts, and for your info ive already won one show, and took second at another. so its just you who dont like the sides.

 

Car looks great, much better then a boring stock LS body...but dual exhaust on a 4-banger is useless, and probably hurting your performance. In fact duals on anything less then a v8 is pretty much just for looks.

 

its not true dual, it a cross over pipe welded in under where the spare tire chamber is located.

more then likely u will be I know I called extreme dimensions and they said on their show cars the gap between the tailight n the trunk is closer on one side bc its not made to fit right and even they admitted the fit was horrible and they made the damn kit lol...side skirts were also a nightmare for me and the front fit perfect Im supposed to go pick my car up tommorow Ill send ya some pics...but good luck with it

definitely do something about the rear bumper though, at first glance I knew it had to be spray paint.

i dont know what her problem is. i havnt done jack to her, but she has iritated me and ive reacted on some other posts. im really getting sick of her, its people like her that cause people to ware trench coats and carry ak-47's to a school in middle america and shoot it up.

personally i like the look of the kit itself but think that the car sits a bit high still. I would get some different springs to lower it an inch or so or get some bigger rims with low pro tires

i cant lower it, ive already shatterd the front once and fixed it. if i was to lower it i would have to get air bags put on it so i could raise it and still go over the roads in virginia. VA's idea of fixing a crack in the road is throwing in asphalt untill it is raised up 4-6 inches higher in the road, kinda like a speed bump.

i dont get the 45k till i sign the contract for 4 more years, that will be this winter, and im not wasting it on lowrider crap, ive seen people try to race with bags and they riped em and they had to have a flat bed come take their car home. that wont be me. Its all going into the engine, ever last penny. To include a race trany, well not all of it, ill have to get the chassi strengthnd.
