The best "aftermarket" you are going to get is retro fit with HID's, and HID fogs.

You could do a front bumper facade swap to the SS (Or 2007 style LT bumper with the foglight provisions) and then use the OE foglight projectors with a HID kit. It would probably be the best solution. Alot of those aftermarket add on kits come with Uncle Bens stickers.

Aren’t the HID too bright to be legal for normal road driving?

I don’t think I would want to get into taking the whole front end of the car apart to mount fog lights by swapping the facade. I am thinking of something the will fit behind the lower vents in the front or maybe something small enough to fit in between the vent slots.

To answer your question.

NO

But some will argue that it is "illegal".

But I personally would never put HID's in stock housings. Only put them in retro or projector housings.

This way, they project the light downwards to the road compared to everywhere.

Well... unless you use HID projectors (Hella, Osram...etc), the HID kits are technically illegal. The eBay projectors are actually halogen projectors, meaning that you're not supposed to use them with HID (They're meant to focus halogen, not HID lighting). That being said, the eBay projector housings are good enough to fool the cops into thinking you have a legal setup provided your lights are not insanely blue/purple.

As far as the "Ghey" halos/leds... just disconnect them. Not that difficult.

Really? I did not know that....

Now I can go out to my car and just disconnect them right now! I didn't know how to get rid of them until just now.

Thanks buddie.
