fog light pitting
fog light pitting
well im wonderin of there is anythin i can do other than buy new fog lights??? my fog lights has pits all in em from sand and other road debris and i was hopin that i could do somethin to polish them an fill the pits in or even shave em down past the pits.
i dont have any pics and its done dark out now. but what im talkin bout is they have small chips in them from sand im guessin. just imagine sand blastin a piece of glass.. or a marble that has these little small chips in the side of it.
the problem is on the outside not inside.

I bought Piaa 004 XT Extreme Whites.
First off the light out of them is awsome,
Second, when you pull the foglights off, there is a plastic casing around the front of them, you can see this if you look at them, its part of the aiming feature. The piaa's fit into this casing like a glove and at first glance you can't even tell there not stock, not untill you get up close and see the PIAA writen across .
Oh yeah the best thing was I used the stock wires/switch, I just taped into the wires right at the fog light in the front bumper and was able to keep a stock appearence on the dash, aftermarket switches are so ugly (IMO)
