Fog lights auto on...

Hey I was curious to if there was a way to get your fog lights to come on when you turn the car on? I think its kinda dumb to have to turn them on every time you start the car, is there an cheap easy nicelooking way to do this, or is it not feasable?

I suppose you could maybe hook them into the same light sensor that the headlights use? That way they came on as the headlights did, instead of them always coming on(if you get what I'm saying).

Read the owners manual. You can have them on always.

I was wondering that too. My Monte is the same way. Pontiacs have that "toggle switch" set up. I don't see why Chevys have an effin' button. Then, when I forget to turn them on (rarely) I feel retarded. Cars look so incomplete without fogs...

I'll have to look in the manual for this as well... I thought the only way was pressing the button every time.

Body Kits, Hoods, Wheels, Spoilers, Interiors

Might want to add it

anyway, yea I checked my manual

3-15 and 3-36

neither page mentions being able to keep them on, stop talking out of your butt, or tell us you drive another car.

I drive a 06, ss and I dont have that option sorry.

Sorry, I thought I had read it as an option in the Driver Information Center computer. I was gonna try it, but have been too lazy to look it up again. Now I can't find it. Guess I miss read it.

I do wish it was an option though. I like having the extra light.

To my knowledge this doesn't come on automatically. You can wire it to the sensor and it still won't come on though. It uses it's own independent power source for fogs so the sensor has to know that you want to turn the fogs on too, obviously it doesn't know this by default, needs to be reprogrammed I would think.
