How did the meguires clay bar kit work, does it take out all the swirls and scratches?

clay bar is a must....light colored cars tend to show environmental fallout and all that crap.

clay bar does not remove swirls or scratches, helps remove crap from your paint for a better finish to apply your waxes/polishes.

no it doesnt take out swirls and scratches

it takes out the sand paper gritty feeling..

then you can use a rotary or random orbital (Porter cable) to buff out the swirls and scratches using a mild rubbing compound
