WELL HAD TO DO THE FIRST CLAYBAR AND WAX OF THE SEASON...CAME OUT PRETTY WELL.......OHH AND I KNOW I NEED TIRE SHINE

i did the same to mine friday night... last night it rained and the wind blew like 45 mph. Came out today and my car looked like a leopard.

Looks Great!! How long did that take you?

Did the same thing today. I used meguires clay bar, mist/wipe, and cleaner wax. My car is yellow and has these damn black dots all over. Pain in the butt to get off!!!

no pics but i had water spots and everything ..claybar makes the paint feel baby smooth again..i used the mothers claybar and mothers carnauba wax

How did the meguires clay bar kit work, does it take out all the swirls and scratches?

clay bar is a must....light colored cars tend to show environmental fallout and all that crap.

yea works well..i'm sure it be better if i used a buffer..i just do it by hand

clay bar does not remove swirls or scratches, helps remove crap from your paint for a better finish to apply your waxes/polishes.

looks good i did mine today as well. It took me over 4 hrs to clean inside, out and under the hood. Also for anyone interested I used clay magic claybar

no it doesnt take out swirls and scratches

it takes out the sand paper gritty feeling..

then you can use a rotary or random orbital (Porter cable) to buff out the swirls and scratches using a mild rubbing compound
