Front Badge
Front Badge
ok guys, tomorrow i am painting the calipers blue and removing all the badges around the outside, i dont want to ask a stupid question but, Ive seen some of you with the SS badge in the front and I like the way it looks. I know how to take off the front bow tie but how can i get the SS badge to say put, i read in one of the threads that someone used double sided tape, somehow i just dont so how that stuff would stay on even if i go through the car wash....ne ideas how to get this to stick please help, thank you.
i didnt buy a new SS badge im just using one off the car but it will have some of the glue on it, i did buy some double sided 3m tape today for the emblem so i just have to cut out what i need for the piece. I went with the removeable stuff cuz i was afraid that the perminate tape would screw up the paint if i ever needed to remove it.

I found it best to use vinyl to make a mock bowtie to replace the factory one and then put the ss badge on it. only casue the holes are easy to see on yellow. check my pics on the site to see what i mean.
Dude, just checked that out and it looks awesome. That was a great idea!!
