front bowtie

I really want a black front bowtie, do i have to buy one and where could I, orrrr can I just take this one of and somehow make one out of vinyl or something??

Just take off the one you have on there now and paint it yourself. I will be doing that soon (I'll be leaving the chrome around the edges) and a few people on here have done it. They came out pretty nice too

Then what? haha ive never painted anything before in my life, put the black paint on first then the clear coat??

ok, take off the bowtie, then tape around the silver part. what i did was tape over some of the gold and then got a razor and cut in the cracks where the silver and the gold meet, it ensures for better coverage. then get about 800 grit sandpaper and lightly sand. wipe it off with a wet cloth and then dry it. spray a light coat of black paint, let dry for a bit and sand with 2000 grit and wipe again. then spary another light coat. it only took me 2 coats but do as many a needed. then let dry and sand again and wipe. now spray the clear, dry, sand, wipe, clear, dry, it should look good, install, or sand, wipe again, do what you think looks good.
