Front plate mount
Front plate mount
I just got a ticket for no front plate. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to mount the plate in the front "mouth" opening in front of the radiator. I have a base model but thats to a stupid kid that pulled out in front of me I now have the SS front bumper. I did not attach the front bracket so I want it down in the opening. Thanks in advance!
I have a better idea. I had this on my camaro
We need to have someone here make it for the Cobalt SS/SC (the front lip is lower) ... Any takers from the Supporting Vendors?

Theres people around here that use two-sided tape, and slighly bend the plate to the bumpers curvature. Seems to work well with no long-term effects.
CarBombss's idea also looks nice, but it will reduce airflow to your heat exchangers.
That braket for the camaro also works, theres a few camaro guys around here that have attached their plates to the lower airdam (spoiler) to where its visible from the front. Works out great, just dont hit any speed bumps

actually that may b tru but not enough to where u feel any kind of power loss from increased intake temps and it work as a pretty good shield from debris..
p.s. he has ls with ss front
unfortuonetly carbombss can still get a ticket for unclear plates. I actually jsut got a ticket for no front license plate. I'm in the process of making a bracket, that fits like that one in the link above. I'll let you guys know how it comes out, and i'll do a write up with pics. It's going to be easy to make, and cheap so ill let you know when its done.
