i would be interested to see how they were attached and secured. thats not a bad price though at all. and if they actually followed the contour of our lip and went all the way to the start of the wheel well that would be sweet

its bolts/screws on the sides and the rods on the front and yes you cut a piece of cardboard out and they make it to fit your car but they are local to me so they could do it for me and ricey or not its for function not for looks so i dgaf...

Aerodynamic parts are as important as any other modification one would put on their car for a performance gain. Just like any other performance modification, aerodynamic components require fine tuning to enable the driver to get the most out of it. Let’s take a look at some common vehicle layouts to see the benefit of each type of aero component.

Front Aerodynamic Components
Lip spoilers, diffusers, splitters, and canards are all components that can be utilized to product downforce in front of the vehicle. These components are especially useful to the following vehicles.

Front-Engine/Front-Wheel Drive (FF):
Power output from FF cars obviously comes from the front of the vehicle. At high speeds, vehicles tend to lift. This lifting effect reduces traction. To prevent the loss of traction, FF cars can utilize components such as front splitters and front canards to give more downforce to the front of the vehicle allowing more power delivery to the ground from the engine.

I"m wondering how it attaches, cause if it attaches to just the bumper cover, theirs gonna be too much flex for it to be effective like they designed it for. I can see the center supports being connected to the fram, but were on the sides would it connect to the frame.

I"m not trying to be negative about it, I'm just looking for more info on it.

If the cars too high then a splitter is nearly useless. Not even the grand am cars ran splitters. Just the time attack car.

Its not rice if its functional!!!

Id consider the rear wing to be more rice than a front splitter on a FWD car. (yes my car has one i like it but i know its just for looks)

To be fair, the Grand Am cars aren't allowed to run them.

I'm torn on a splitter. Not useful unless you can setup brake ducting.

Well, you'd have to seal up the holes on the stock lip, and then this splitter wouldn't be any lower, so that means you'll have to duct the brakes from something like the foglight area, which is tough to do.
