Future Projections - Opinions?

A buddy of mine works for a company that does tinting and vinyl wrapping, and I figured I'd get a Carbon Fiber wrap for my hood, possibly the mirrors too. I spent a little time on photoshop and came up with a preview. I like it, but I want some opinions from you guys since I always ask Cobalt people for their opinions. What do you guys think of this idea?

ill tell you this, either go all rel cf or all wrapped cf. otherwise the looks will conflict and make the fake stuff look more fake.

and yes it looks pretty good, never know till you acutally see it though

I don't plan on getting real CF. I don't have the money to buy a $600 hood. Just want it for the look.

OP if you want it to it. plenty of people do wraps. if you get tired of it after a while or it just isn't how you thought it would look then take it off. i'm sure your buddy can get you a good deal

Putting fake carbon fiber on a body panel to play it off like real.. Yeah that's a bit ricey. Yeah that would be ricey imo. Thought this was about vinyl not dipping thou, but I can see what you mean. Hydrodripped sport bike levers drive me nuts with their carbon fiber print. Looks so tacky, but very interesting indeed.

Well I'm glad I'm getting some positive feedback on this. As for those who don't think this is good, I'll explain a few things quick.

I'm not sure how it's ricey, I know people who do thing like this. And I'm not gonna wrap it and say I have a CF hood. If people as of course I'm going to tell them that its vinyl wrapped. I'm not a guy who's going to get a "fake" part and play it as the real thing. I'm not that kind of guy.

I'm not a fan of fake CF on large pieces like a hood. It just doesn't look good imo. It works fine on small pieces like interior pieces, but imo for a large piece only the real thing looks good.
