Not that long ago, I remember the thread about a year ago saying that they were down to about 10 new black arm rests. You can still buy other colors just not the black new.

Just curious I went and started looking this morning. I found a grey and tan one for 15.00. Has anyone used SEM interior dye on them?

there is only 2 parts to an arm rest, right? you have the arm rest itself and then the bracket that bolts to the center council?

i bid on one on ebay, its gray , and will match the black/gray interior.

Ok cool. Im not sure if the one I bid on will come with the bolts to bolt it into place but I'm sure I can find something to work at the hardware store, if I get the winning bid.

Ok. That's the one I saw when I googled it. The armrest I'm getting has the mounting bracket, armrest and cup holders, I don't think it has the mounting bolts though. But I've read that people just grab some bolts from a hardware store instead of using the factory bolts.

Google the part number and it should have the info you need. @ .50 each I would just go to GM.

bump an old thread.

so i picked up an armrest for dirt cheap. got the armrest and cup holder. it didnt come with mounting bolts or the bracket that bolts to the center council itself. so i ordered the bracket off of ebay and i have the part number for the correct bolts. but incase the dealership dont have the mounting bolts in stock, does anyone know the exact dimension of the mounting bolts just incase i have to find them at a local hardware store?

I can't remeber them but I do believe it was 10 mm. Other than that I would say go to a junkyard. They might let you have them for cheap, definitely cheaper than the dealer.

There was a part # posted in this thread. I emailed Tom @ crate engine depot to verify that it was the correct part #. Im going to the dealership today to drop the balt off to have some work done. While I'm there I will check and see how much the bolts are. There are 4 bolts holding the bracket down and then it looks like will need another 4 for mounting the armrest to the bracket, right?

No. Only need two for the actual armrest but four for the bracket.

Take the bracket with you to a hardware store and see what bolts fit in it then get those.
