G5 Art Hood
its a unique idea that i have never heard of and i'm just curious as the the level of pre-work, actually painting everything with a sharpie (talk about tedious), and after-care....etc etc
Sorry to be so vague.
Here is the link to "guy with BMW" lol. I would use his username but I can't ever remember it.

The pen is actually a paint pen, not a sharpie, per say. We washed the hood with Dawn and then went to town. It's held up through the rain so far without incident. I have an appointment to have it cleared on Monday, but hopefully the trunk will be done by then so I can have both done.

Thanks man.
I'm starting to get worried about protecting it correctly. I think we're gonna have a problem with the clear coat coming off once it gets sprayed because the hood wasn't prepped for it when we painted it. I'm kinda leaning towards giving the artist the hood and getting the Rksport hood right now, as sad as that is. I love the artwork and I want to keep it on my car, but I can't find a good way to protect it. Wax brings the art off.

Very nice. As said above, do the roof and trunk and your set. Could even do a thinner version along the side (like about 1/4-1/3 width of whats on the hood). But yea, looks good man.
haha...this is cool to see. the guy with the b.m.w. is travis. he lives out here. he had the trunk done but some jackass mest it up bad. the car is gone now. it was in a magazine too. im going to let him know about this so he can see it.
Thank you sir.
Oh and the trunk is done now too. Possibly doing the roof tomorrow if my friend is down to do it.
