Ok, so my car is completely debadged, tinted out all around including windshield, i just got vent visors and new headlights with the projectors and such. I want to do something with the front grill though... I've looked around to see if there's anything aftermarket for the G5 grill and there isn't really anything. It looks to be different then the cobalt grill in that it's not part of the whole bumper. Any suggestions on what I could do to make it that bit different from all the other ones. I'd also like to remove the Pontiac emblem from the front. I was thinking of cutting out the vents and the divider then putting almost like a custom billet grill in it. Suggestions?
Also I'm debating debadging my windows to. It currently rocks a window banner and two side decals. I'm going to retint my 3rd brake light soon as right now it also comes up reklessracing.net when the brake light is applied. I want to remove it and make it all smooth.
I want a CLEAN look. Not a ricey look or anything like that.

Future appearance mods will be:
rims and tires
and possibly a GT front and rear bumpers and side skirts.

Also, Figure Engineering makes custom grills. There's another company that makes some too, but they're expensive.

i would say just paint them gloss black and maybe the red on the badge too so it doesnt stick out so much, i like the looks of the g5 grille

 

I painted them with Krylon fusion, topped with some clear. Turned out perfect.

I have a black vinyl overlay on my front badge too. I'll see if I can find a pic...

The vinyl in that picture sucked, and I cut it bad, so I redid it. It's perfect now.

what about using VHT or something like that to smoke the pontiac logo?

 

Niteshades is a light tinting spray. If you want to paint it just use paint.

 

put a cobalt ss front bumper! it should fit the cobalt and g5 are on the same platform. it would be diff i haven't seen it done around here.

 

I had def debated putting the G5 GT front bumper on it wich is the same as the SS bumper just with the G5 grill instead of the cobalt.

 

i wanted to swap trunk lid and rear bump with a g5 but i think it would funny with to big round light

 

It would look like the 2 door cobalt... would it not? the non ss model?
