I was wondering if anybody has tried to put the G5 GT rear lip on their Cobalt SS/SC? I was thinking that since they are the same car for the most part the parts would be interchangable. I am temped to buy it and find out myself, but I want to find out if anybody has tried it first. I just like how smooth looking the G5 looks compared to the SS rear lip.

 

I'd have to say that they would interchange. I was behind a a G5 GT on Friday for a couple of miles, and I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm not a huge fan of the rear lip on my SS/SC, but something needs to be there to keep the full look to the lower body, and that G5 lip would be perfect. It's is definitely on my list of things to get.

 

What does the G5 GT lip look like?

 

thats the lip for the G5 GT i have a front lip for a ss sc siting in the house waiting to get it on in the spring

 

Another reason why I want to switch em, besides them looking so much smoother, my lip just gets covered with dust and everything, and I think that it will stay cleaner longer.
