It requires modification no matter if it the SS or GT lip. When I was selling my old lip a guy with a TC sedan wanted it so we test fit it and while close in some areas the sides were to long.

the only issue i see is that the G% uses and LS bumper with the lip attached and the SS uses the SS/NA bumper ( Different contour and lines, than an LS) with the Lip attached. im sure its doable,a nd not too much is needed, if anything.

 

i used my stock bumper and just cut the slits in it, when i bought my lip, royce made me buy the bumper too, so i was able to make a template of where ther slots should b, and i ordered the factory clips from gm< expensive little bastards

 

I have the lip in my trunk, but since its blowing like a hurricane out there ill wait to put it on.

I'm replacing my GT lip with the SS, I'll more then likely be selling it. But I'd rather sell it locally then ship such a large item.

So I decided to do this today (even tho it was -6) the SS lip fits perfectly, however there are a few extra tabs on the SS lip that aren't cut out on the GT bumper. So either mark and cut the new holes or cut off the small tabs that the GT doesn't use. And the opening around the tailpipe needs to be trimmed bigger and across the bottom of the bumper needs to be trimmed.
But as for the lip itself fitting the contour and existing tab locations, its fits just fine.

Its actually not installed. I didn't have the tools to do the little bit of cutting required. But at least I know itll fit just fine.

 

I might be getting my hands on a silver sc lip, maybe we can trade.

I don't know why there aren't more people on here with the SS with the G5GT rear end? It's so badass. Even cooler is the g5 gt rear end on a ss with the ss rear lip .... No Pontiac badge . I'm going to try and get that accomplished this winter..
