Wink G5 trunk lid

I've heard that it will fit in place of the regular trunk lid. Is this true and has anyone tried it yet?

Yes it has been done. You will just have no reverse lights.

i'm not worried about the reverse lights LOL. i think there is a junkyard that actually has a red g5 in it right now, i just would rather have it wingless as well

damn thanks for bursting my bubble i havent really looked into this yet, but i wanted a wingless one so i didnt have to fill anymore holes... its a good thing too though, because it will force me to shave the lock at the same time to make it completely clean

Reviving this thread and was wondering...

Could you get the middle bar light of the G5 trunk lid to work at all? or no?
