Gauge Cluster Swap

So, I've searched, and I just want to make sure before I go ahead and start looking...

...is it true I can install an '07 SS/SC gauge cluster into my '07 LT with no issues at all? The speedo and odometer, fuel gauge and tach will just work like normal, with no retuning or anything?

And the miles aren't stored in the cluster, right?

The mileage is stored in the BCM, the cluster just reads that value. I swapped my 2.4 cluster with an SS/SC cluster and everything still works. As long as you stick to the correct year you will have no problems.
