Gauge pillar

Anyone know where we can get Gauge Pillars for the 06 Cobalt SS/SC? I want to be able to monitor oil pressure, water temp and voltage. Plus keep the standard boost gauge. Any help would be great.

You may want to search ebay, or google. Finding the gauges will be easy, all you need to do is find a gauge pillar that wouldl fit since are car is so new dont know if they have made pillars yet. Maybe a universal pillar would work.

There are no A-pillar pods for the Cobalt due to the side impact air bag installation. During a deployment, the gauges in the pillar would be shot pretty much directly into your head. There are custom made pillars out there, and I'm sure someone will make one for the NON-side air bag equipped cars, just not yet.

Give it time. I am sure Autometer will make them soon enough. Maybe even E-mail Autometer and see if they have anything planned for the cobalt.

The curtin airbag comes out of that tiny ass hole in the pillar about the size of a quarter. I would imagine someone could fab up a pillar that can work with the airbags.

Um, no, it doesn't come out of just that little hole. Thats just a plug with the word "air bag" molded into it. The air bag deploys along the length of the upper window sill and a portion of the top of the A-pillar.

I got into this accident and my gauges popped out of the A pillar and killed me instantly, it was so cool that I kicked my mom right in the face....

on a serious note, any one stupid enough to mount that on a side air bag is asking to be hurt.

With all the Cobalt accidents there were last year, surely there must be a picture around that will show us what happens....
