GEAR SHIFT KNOB MOD (SS Supercharged)
I have a Yellow SS and wanted my gear shift knob two tone, Yellow & Black to match the rest of the interior. Being it's a "Pull-Up Reverse", finding one drove me nuts! So I thought I'd share what I am doing to accomplish this.
I popped the center cap off the knob and brought it to a leather/saddle shop. The guy is cutting me a new cap made out of the same thickness leather (the exact Yellow) and replacing the original cap with it. I will have it Weds.
Just thought someone out here may like my idea and do the same thing in their SS color.

damn, that does sound like a pretty nice mod, subtle, but effective. A bit worried about it perhaps offsetting the color vs silver trim balance...Maybe overstate the color a bit?
