Gen 3 HID's??

I bought these from a local buyer.

They appear to be in great shape, and i fully intend to repalce the HIDS with a set from buyhids.com but do you guys think they look okay?

They look fine to me. Are the headlight lenses just dirty or are they messed up?

They are super dirty plust the light from her garage is weird. I asked the same thing and she confirmed they were clear. Just to confirm the wires are all considered the "relay" correct?

No I think you will have to buy a relay harness. Those wires I see all connect to the harness.

Are you running a similar set up GS? You're headlights look pretty similar - these ones are from sonar - I can't seem to find any decent reviews of them?

I have different HID ballasts but the connectors look the same. And yes, we have the same headlights. I have had mine for 6 months now and haven't had any problems at all.

Awesome, thats always good to know. And I'll just buy a decent hid kit from buyhids.com, one that comes with the relays. Best $50 I've spent in a while, lol. Appreciate the info GS, your set up looks pretty sick so I'm excited.

Thanks man, you'll be happy. BuyHIDs is a good company with good customer service so if you ever have any problems Mike will replace them.

Ohhhh...one last question - what temp and ballasts are you using, and are yours high and lows or just lows? I'm really lost with this stuff. I want bright blue lights with high and low beams, what set up would you recommend?

I have 8K, 6K are white, and I think 10K are too blue. I have just the low beams. You will need two sets of HIDs to run highs and lows for these lights. If you're looking for normal headlights I would go with 6K but if you want a nice look with a little more attention then 8K.

No problem, I have never seen those in gen 3's. For them to be exactly what they are now just converted to hids you will need 2 sets. You will be happy with the 8k
