Gen 4 headlights help

So today I started putting in my gen 4s. The drivers side went In really smooth and fits fine. The passenger side how ever is beyond me. I've Been working with it over 2 hours now. It will not fit... The clips at the bottom aren't fitting and are almost blocking it. Any help ? Tips? Btw how flush Should they be against the hood? Mine have a huge gap on the drivers side.

I have, the drivers side fits perfectly. But the passenger doesn't fit at all.

your better off removing your front bumper cover and installing your head lights then realigning your bumper to the headlights. Cobalts are known to have terrible headlight fitment right from factor.

Mine are the same way but my driver side has a big gap between the bumper and headlight, about a half inch gap!

No gap from bumper, but there's going to be a big gap from top of headlight to hood. They don't fit like stock. Make sure the clips are going into the slots, especially on the corner.

They are a bitch to get them to slide into the "rails" properly. One of mine was like that for a few months until I took some time and a lot of patience to get it to seat right. They won't fit as nicely as stock, but they should at least both have the same "gap". If one is off, it means it's not fitted correctly. Good luck

keep trying, I had trouble fitting the drivers side and I kept at it for a few hours, finally got it to fit properly.
