well with all the goodies I spent on em yeah..they got expensive..but he can build u a basic set for around 300-350 bucks. depending on what you want.

yupp. thing is the projectors i used arent everyones first choice. they are the G5 projectors from 3bSpec, i spent only about $75 for the pair. only thing i regret about them is the bulb. its specific to the projector, so getting replacements if one burns out is going to be a bitch. other than that, i cant complain. love the simple look, and ease of install. no drilling or mounting required. the come ready to be installed in the 9007 slot. key word of advice, make sure the rotation is correct on them, meaning they are level. my passenger one is on bit of an angle (meaning the cutoff)

 

I wish I knew about that before I just ordered a set of gen 4s. Those lights look great slowgt

TL projectors imo are the best out there right now, but a total ass load of cash

 

I like both. But went with the black stockers b/c i did them myself

What all did you or do I need to buy

 

i had bought just the G5 projectors, they come with the HIDS and relay harness. only thing you need to buy along with them is a set of ballasts. i already had a set, so i didnt need to. my current issue, and only complaint is you cant change the halos, and im having issues with one of my highbeam cutoffs not working properly. i think there's an issue with a connection, i've just been to lazy to bother looking at it since i rarely use my high beams except to flash em at people who think i have em on.

 

IMHO i would not buy those G3/G5 Projectors. I had a set and didnt like them. however you can do whatever you would like.

You can piece together a setup for under $120 and build them yourself with Mini H1's

ive got 3 sets of lights. 1 oem, 1 black oem reps, and black halos...all leak...200 for all of them

I added this to my WTB thread but looks like it's dead at this point:

I put them in with some 5000K HIDs.
the lights look great but the low beams both aim left. I can't get them to center no matter what I do. I pulled off the bumper and tried shimming the buckets but nothing helps. the weird thing is the high beams are perfectly centered where they should be.

 

That seems odd ^ I met up with a dude at a car meet might sell me his gen 4 for 100 there in good shape... Is it worth It or get black stocks for 150 shipped

 

i'd pick them up for 100 for sure.

 

I'd trade you my amazing OEM blacks for those gen 4's if you pick them up

 

NVM, this seems like a perfect budget to work with. I wonder how output looks and what they'll look like.
