Gen4 Halogen vs DDM vs Morimoto/Osram
Gen4 Halogen vs DDM vs Morimoto/Osram
Here's some comparison shots of my 4th Gens. I'm waiting on the S2K-R's to come out from Theretrofitsource.com to swap them in.
All shots are taken with a DSLR on identical settings aprox 15 ft from wall.
First the halogens it came with. A few months of use.

Zoomed

Then with a 35w DDM kit with 5000k. About 500 hours on them.

I also have a set of 35w Morimoto ballasts(Very high quality for the non HID fluent. Actually put out 35w) and I'm waiting on Osram CBI's which are 5000k and 3400 lumens(OEM bulbs for the non HID fluent). As soon as they come in I'll also post those as well.
One thing I find interesting is how when HID's are installed the overall brightness increases while the hotspot does not, which is a good thing as hotspots=bad.
