Lol i was thinking about rattlecanning mine since my hood is going to be black and it was just gonna be black and it would be easy to get in there, but i decided no ill try to do it a little better. Just get a scotch bright and scuff it all up real good. if you get a little touch up gun and pin point it you can get in some pretty tight spots
Yep, mine is **** brown right now, and the trucks gonna be gunmetal... don't think those match very well.

yea but its an engine bay, it wont be exposed to the UV as much as the exterior of a car, so it should be alright for a long time. Unless you tink i should try base clear. Ill have black material left over and im sure ill have some clear. I can try it.
This Wednesday at my school there having a SATA Rep come down and go over SATA products and guns and stuff. It has nothing to do with our school they just use the body shop and its free and anybody can show up. Alot of guys in body shops in our area usually show up. The Rep usually brings material and guns and lets everyone spray different things. And last couple years they gave away a pretty sweet SATA T-shirt so ill definitly be there lol. Im gonna be at the shop workin on my car anyways

Headliner done, what a pain in the ass. Some1 told me 2 of SEM colorcoat would be enough...try 5. Luckily theres a carquest open here on saturday with a paint section that sells it

What a pain. And i didnt have anything to get the glue off of the sun visors so it's either get a replacement sticker to go on them, or find something to get the glue off and spray them again

lmao I didnt think i had to take the glass out and all to get the damn slider out, but yea you do. pretty crazy, that was my 1st headliner. Im sitting on the computer right now with my sunroof glass sitting right next to me. Im gonna leave it out till after the cars painted. That way I can get under that lip there when the sunroof opens.

did you have the sunroof in the open position? I had to take out the 2 torx bits holding that metal plate directly behind the glass to get it to slide out
This piece, the black piece with the torx on top

no i didnt....i loosened up every single bolt. but the front ones i left on but loosed a bit and then took the rest completely off to tilt the sunroof downwards and i was able to get the torx bit in there with a 1/4" socket. go look in the fi section
