lmao i dunno about that, most guys are function over form, i just got sick of fuel pumps breaking, clutches slipping, evap solenoids going bad, check engine lights, not having my car for WEEKS cuase the service department cant figure it out and they want to blame everything on my parts, changing spark plugs every5k miles, misfires, calling GM headquarters and dealing with people. Trying to go crazy with performance on your DD when you have limited funds is tough although fun. I figured id "settle down" and just try to do the basic stuff and make it look real nice. That makes me happy, im not out to make 500whp and look stock, i wanna make 350whp and look ballin.

I appreciate all the support im getting from you guys though, it really makes all the work seem worth it. I started this project with people telling me I was crazy for fuckign with a brand new car, but I think it really payed off in the end. Its truley one of a kind now. It was a great learning experience and something ill be proud of when i drive everyday cause i did pretty much everything to it myself. Plus itll always be something I have on my "resume" if I ever needed it for a autobody job.

Kevin I don't think everything you have done is ghey... but however those little plastic things and the BOV are. The plastic thingies don't look at home on our car... they just don't they look out of place and cheap. The BOV you want for just sound, well it's just a ricer duck call! Unless it's actually needed which on the stock turbo is NOT. Your stock BPV sound is low well because you aren't pushing much boost so it doesn't have as much air to release... mine is VERY loud when people turn around and look at it means it can be heard for a bit away from the car!

And all this money spent just to move the maf just to run one is just kinda stupid. SORRY... it is... sure I can tune it for you not a problem... but for what? SPend the money on a downpipe, or cold side pipe, intercooler suspension something that will actually benefit the car!

Maybe it's just my opinion... but everyone on this site made fun of the SRT4s with their sneeze mod... and here 99% of this site is doing it tooo...... ironic don'tcha think!

 

well i have a downpipe, have intake, hotside pipe, and i dont have the 600 bucks for a decent intercooler, but i am selling a set of Gen 2's that will almost cover most of the cost of a cold side pipe with MAF relocation welded on for a BOV That cost me nothing but a few hours of work + my Injen pipes. So to me, it seems like a good deal I have springs, the only thing I really want is maybe pedders, and OTTP street/hardcore bar. Im simple, and NEVER make fun of SRT4's so dont bring that hate over my way! I love BOV's, the more the merrier. u got a supercharger, i wanna hear the bitch whine, you gota turbo, i wanna hear that bitch spool and sneez at me. And i have experienced an intake blowing off at 25psi in my car, and its just not ANYWHERE as nice as an HKS blowing off at 25psi. Thats IMO. If i set it up right, and it works alright, who cares. I just dont understand why it bothers people so much? People can go straightpipe off the turbo and be REDICULOUSLY loud as ****, but you put a BOV on, and your a ricer. Whatever. Im not here to please everyone, just 1 guy.
