I was just wondering what is the difference in a single sided and double sided carbon fiber hood? Whats better? and do i have to use hood pins on the hood? I mean i most likely will be doing some auto x next spring?

 

There is another post about this from a month or 2 ago, but anyways single sided is for show mainly, and double is for weight reduction. The single has usually a fiberglas support structure underneath, where as the double has a CF support structure.

 

Hood pins depend on the hood, whether or not it was designed with the latch. I think.
