I bought my ss used and in my rearview window there is a giant ss emblem. It is very hard too see. In fact you can only see it when you are inside the car in certain lights. Did it come like this from the factory? I have 5% tint on the back window and it looks like they just tinted over it and thats the reason you can only see it from the cabin. PS you can tell it woud look very ricerish if you could see it

That doesn't make any sense...tint goes on the inside, vinyl on the outside. Unless they put the vinyl on the inside, in which case, you would still see it from outside...

That would be my guess I think...there really is no other way it would work, unless the vinyl is on the inside, INSIDE the tint...which is just retarded. but then again, so is a tint shop not getting adhesive off the window. I'm really confused by this whole thing, can you take pictures?

its probably in the tint... my friend had something like this on his old car. If it is what i understand the ss is in the tint but sightly lighter or darker so you can see it.

as far as pics go ill try my best, but this **** is really hard too see. When i first got it i noticed it in my rearview mirror when the sun was behind me and i took me 2 weeks to fig out wat it said. I told my friends too look at it and they couldnt even tell until i told them it said ss

 

maybe there was a vinyl on ther and when the rest of the tint faded the tint under the ss did not. Probaly not enough to be like wtf but enoufh so you can see it...
