Gloss black headlights

Hey, so right now I have a set of headlights that I bought off a G5 and painted them flat black. They look good, but one of the lenses is older than the other and it looks kind of funny (I tried de-oxidizing and stuff, not gonna happen).

So now I'm going to paint my original headlights since they're in mint condition. My question is: can anyone post a couple pics of headlights painted gloss black instead of flat/matte?

I originally chose flat because I thought maybe there would be issues with glare from the shiny paint, but I seem to remember seeing someone with gloss black headlights. I think it would probably look better on my car too since it's black as well.

Thanks

mine are gloss black but i dont have any pictures sorry. But i will say this, THEY LOOK DAMN GOOD. Much better then flat black. Only thing i lke about flat black is you dont really see anything wrong with the paint. Gloss black you will see any little imperfection. So make sure you clean them real good.

Also when i was done painting the headlights i put them back into the oven to try and dry them. When they came out of the oven it was so much more glossy then the other one, it was crazy how glossy it got. So i recommend outting them in the oven after your done painting them.

Im not sure if they would look better than flat black, but since your car is black it might look good.

Also to dunit121, why would you do that to your car?

I painted the whole housing of my headlights besides the actual silver part that does not come off from the 9007 bulb.

Have an amber light (doesn't blink that bright) but the cops told me there was nothing wrong with it in MI.

Never really heard of anyone getting **** for this.
