Glove box problem

I bought my cobalt used and there is a lighter stuck to the bottom of the glove box.
I have tried to use brute force and it will not move at all. I don't know if it is glued with super glue or what.
Any suggestions as to go about removing this?
Everything I put in my glove box sits at an angle and not flat.

If you think it is superglued then try using acetone to release the glue......other than that all i can suggest is to pull the bitch harder.....lol..........later

It's probably melted into the glovebox. The previous owner probably tossed it in there while it was still hot to avoid getting caught or some **** and now it's stuck. Personally I would just find a new glovebox...

Go to a gym and build those muscles.

jk, just remove the glovebox and go from there, it should come out eventually.

i hate that ******* glove box not yours but i wen to change the cabin air filter and couldn;t get the string out i know how to do it but ******* gm when they but that string holder in on the right side kind of didnt fully have a flat surface so i can just push the thing down because the plastic was molded bad tried getting rid of it no good had to squeeze the filter. O and when i was trying to push the holder thing for the string down i happened to cut myself on the side thing ehh at least i got my ac in tip top shape wow holy thread jack my bad.

So I took the advice here and woke up today, took my vitamins, did some pushups and went out to the car with some nail polish remover......

It was melted to the glove box it looks like.
I dont know how the plastic dice part got that hot to the point that it melted or why someone would toss that in their glove box that hot either but oh well...
