Yea on both the saturn ION redline and Cobalt SS/SC the GM performance badge is under the hoold its on the grame of the car right as you lift it up. theres also a badge that says "Supercharged". if i had a pic of it I would show you, but its there on the stock SS/SC.

I see it every time I open my hood!

...and it's actually a little bigger than the Supercharged badge I believe.

It seems that the only thing that people aren't going to put in the LS from the SS is the drivetrain - pity... I can't wait to see a thread about an interior swap.

I sware, GM does something nice for the SS S/C Cobalt and every car below it has to have it. Now I know how Honda feels about the Type R, the REAL Type R.

I bought the GM Performance Division badge of ebay. I have an 06 SS Sedan and I put the badge on the the lower right side of the trunk... Right where the "supercharged" emblem would go. It looks great! Ive had a few people compliment on it too!

dude, you have NO idea. lol. I was in the Honda scene HEAVILY before I got this car...and my Cadillac before it. But then again, you have tha tgreatly in ANY aspect of car tuning. Think about it. You gotta wonder how many TRUE old Camaro SS's or Chevelle SS's there are. Any moron can put a badge on a car and call it that. I love it when guys with Mustangs put GTR badges on them. That's a Skyline. wow. Let's put a badge on your car of something that you're obviously against becasue you have a Mustang.

Anyway, I do like that badge. I think it would be kinda dumb on an LS...but if it's on an n/a SS I think it's remotely appropriate. Just my pennies.

GM has that emblem on more than 1 car out there , so its not just specific to the ss/sc

the impala ss , malibu maxx ss , gtp gxp , bonniville gxp , im sure the trailblazer ss will have it also

ive had that emblem on my radiator cover since the part # was avaliable

But the difference is all those cars are also part of GM's "Performance" line, hence why they got the "Performance Division" badge. I guess it's like every other badge like type-r, gt, ss, and whatnot - give it enough time and people will bastardize it by putting it on fakes.

agreed. the only cobalt that should have that badge is the cobalt ss/sc. any other cobalts that have that are just posers. just because the top of the line cobalt model has one doesn't give the right to the other cobalts to slap one on. that's like me slapping on a type R badge on my rsx just because the REAL type R in japan has one.
