GM Ground Effects package question
GM Ground Effects package question
Anyone know if its possible to just buy the front bumper valence from this package? http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessor...51798704949936
I definitely don't want to spend $1,000 for one piece. I guess they only make this for the 4doors. I have a 2.2 LS and just want the front piece.. I guess it would fit since the 4 door and 2 door front bumpers are the same.

Since both the coupe and the sedan have the same wheelbase, it's possible GM designed the kit to fit both cars. If it just covers the rocker panels (ie, nothing attaches to the door or 1/4 panel), then I'd almost bank on it being universal.
I wonder if the "blue" that they offer is Arrival Blue or Laser Blue. I'd be very interested if the kit was available in Arrival Blue. EDIT: Looked up the paint code...it's laser blue

i actually think that body kit is for the ss model cobalts. In the sema pictures it shows that kit on the ss model, that would make sense, the old ground effects can just be taken off then the new ones can be clipped in.

nope no need. the best way is with a lift, just because you don't have to crawl underneath the car. removing the bumper is just extra unnecessary work. remember you never have to remove any bumpers to install any type of ground effects.
