GM wheels

I thought there were a few wheels directly from GM available for our cars, so I was checking out crateenginedepot for what they had. So I find these wheels:

http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...-P1303C52.aspx

So after checking that out, two things:

1) Anyone have some pics of these wheels on our car? These aren't the G5 or pursuit wheels are they? Do they hold up better than the chipping gun metal stock 18"ers?

2) Why the heck are they talking about a turbocharged SS model in the product description? (sorry if old/repost)

Thanks.

These are cool wheels that nobody seems to have puchased. And price is probably the main reason. There is a video out there of the Open Air Cobalt concept that has these on it.

somebody on here has those rims, and they actually looked pretty badass. He had a black car I think. I don't remember who it was though. You might be able to find it if you search or maybe he'll chime in.

As for the turbocharged stuff in the description, it's probably a typo.

Those look like the 18" option for the G5 GT that NOBODY has bought. The price jump is outrageous from the GT rims to these ones. I'm pretty sure those are the same type onlt without the Pontiac center cap. The only pic I could find them is from Pontiac's website, and the pic is really small.

I saw those rims on a pretty sweet yellow 4-door balt at the Chicago Auto show, but as Psykostevo said, price probably keeps most people from buying them. Hell, for 1300 bucks, you could get decent rims AND tires, let alone that being the sale price for the rims!
